Who are Marble Construction Ltd?
Marble Construction is a family run business based in Farnborough, Hampshire. The company was started by Darren Maunders, Stuart Wyeth and Luke Maunders and has been up and running since December 2007.
What experience do Marble Construction have?
Darren and Luke Maunders have over 19 years’ combined building experience in the building industry. Prior to starting Marble Construction in 2007, Darren had spent five years working for a large window manufacturer and has gained an extensive knowledge of window production, business acumen and business systems, whilst Luke had spent a similar length of time working as an expert carpenter and loft installer. Marble Construction also have a sister company called Prospect Glazing Limited which is also a thriving family business specialising in windows, complex conservatories and aluminum bi-folding door systems.
Stuart Wyeth has over 8 years’ experience in project managing loft conversions and extensions. His past and future ethos of customer service is paramount. Between the three directors customers can expect an extremely high customer service, a very informative project management service and a fantastic finished project.
Can the quality of work be guaranteed?
Absolutely! Marble Construction strive to work to the highest degree of perfection in all of our jobs. We are members of the Federation of Master Builders and all of our work carries a 10 year guarantee. What about planning permission and building regulations?
Some extensions, loft conversions and even big conservatories require Planning Permission from the local council. All of our projects will always abide by Building Regulations. The quotation you receive from us will include the preparation of Plans and Calculations for your local authority if this is a service you would like us to help you with. If you already have planning permission, we are still happy to build your project and can help with just the building regulations if required.
Can I see a completed conversion?
Certainly, you can either look around at the many case studies on our website for pictures of completed conversions or you can contact us and we can arrange for you to have a look at one of our completed conversions in person. We develop a friendly relationship with our customers, many of whom are more than happy to show you around.
How much will my loft conversion or extension cost?
Every loft conversion or extension is individual to your property and your chosen requirements. Consequently the cost will vary. Marble Construction have many years of experience of accurate costing and use expensive pricing software so you can be sure that the price we quote is the price you can expect to pay. Once you have accepted our quote, we guarantee there will be no extra charges unless you request further building works from us. Our Surveyor will discuss any additional extras with you many times before you decide to go ahead with us. Any additional items that would be an extra will all be detailed for you in your personal quotation so you can budget accurately before you decide to go ahead.
What areas do Marble Construction cover?
Firstly, Marble Construction are currently implementing systems so that we can work anywhere in the country (depending on the size of project you are looking to undertake). However, our main areas of business, are Southwest London, Surrey and Hampshire, although we have also completed extensions and loft conversions in Essex, Kent and the Midlands too.
How long does it take to convert my loft or extension?
At Marble Construction we try to complete your project within 6 to 12 weeks but the time will vary depending upon the size of your building project. We strive to complete your conversion as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining an incredibly high standard.
How do I know if I can covert my loft or extend my property?
Not all lofts can be converted as some can be seen as being impractical. We would be pleased to offer you a free honest consultation to see whether or not your loft can be converted. We do not believ in pushy sales tactics or giving dishonest advice just to get you to convert, that’s not the reason we build….
